We are seeking a motivated HR Advisor to join our People team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide practical HR advice and manage a range of employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievances, absenteeism and workplace investigations. You will work closely with leaders to support positive people outcomes while ensuring matters are managed consistently and effectively.

You will contribute to key people initiatives and cyclical HR activities that support employee engagement, performance and the overall employee experience. This role offers a great opportunity to further develop your HR/ER capability, build strong stakeholder relationships and make a meaningful impact within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, probation, absenteeism and workplace concerns, providing end-to-end case management and practical guidance to leaders.
  • Lead grievance, disciplinary, investigation and termination processes, ensuring matters are managed fairly, consistently, and in accordance with company policy and employment legislation.
  • Provide expert advice on Enterprise Agreements, Awards, employment law, HR policies and procedural fairness requirements, supporting leaders to achieve positive and compliant outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate case records, correspondence and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality, compliance and data integrity.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partner to identify emerging people trends and risks, while supporting employee lifecycle activities, remuneration reviews, engagement initiatives, surveys and wider People team projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR, HR Advisory or Employee Relations role, with a strong track record of providing practical people advice and support to leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, conduct issues, absenteeism, workplace investigations and terminations.
  • Sound understanding of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, Awards and HR best practice, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical business setting.
  • Experience contributing to people initiatives such as employee engagement, performance and development programs, employee lifecycle activities and continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
