As a Data Engineer Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting our analytics capability by maintaining data processes, delivering reporting solutions, and providing insights that help drive business performance across operations, marketing and lending. About the Role
Reporting to the Analytics leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting data engineering, analytics, reporting and operational processes across the business. You'll work with a variety of data platforms and reporting tools to ensure data is accurate, accessible and supports informed decision-making.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain and improve data workflows, automate processes, develop reporting solutions and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines, data warehouse processes and data management frameworks.

Ensure data quality, integrity and governance standards are maintained across reporting and analytics environments.

Extract, transform and analyse data to deliver actionable insights that support operational, marketing and strategic decision-making.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting platforms.

Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, provide analytical support and deliver practical data-driven solutions.

Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reporting capability and user experience.

Provide support for data and reporting systems, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and user assistance.
About You
You are a curious and analytical professional who enjoys working with data to solve business problems. You are comfortable managing competing priorities, working collaboratively with stakeholders and translating complex information into actionable insights.
You will bring:
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
- Experience in data analysis, data engineering, business intelligence or analytics within a commercial environment.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, SAS or similar analytical tools.
- Experience working with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent platforms.
- Exposure to cloud-based data environments such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
