We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Manager – Collections to join our team and help shape the future of our lending operations. In this senior role, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of high volume, early-stage collections strategies across Credit Corp Financial Services, ensuring strong performance while effectively managing risk, compliance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Your work will directly support organisational goals and strengthen alignment to our broader business strategy.

You will also play a key role in enhancing the way we work by leading the development of processes and procedures and championing continuous improvement across all aspects of the pre‑write‑off collections function.  If you’re passionate about delivering great outcomes, driving performance, and building a highly effective collections framework, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the performance and strategic direction of the collections function, ensuring strong portfolio outcomes, effective risk management, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency, leveraging automation, digital tools, and enhanced processes to maximise collections effectiveness.
  • Lead the identification, design, recommendation of improvements across the collections function and drive their implementation in consultation with our support teams
  • Oversee reporting, insights, and performance analytics, providing clear commentary, recommendations, and data validation to support informed decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance and high-quality customer interactions, maintaining policy, process, and regulatory standards while delivering respectful and consistent communication.
  • Lead, develop, and empower the collections leadership team, setting structure, KPIs, and expectations, and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in leading a collections function, ideally within an early stage collections environment or consumer lending sector
  • Deep expertise in collections strategies, tools, and early‑stage consumer account management, including digital engagement methods and best‑practice customer interaction.
  • Strong capability in campaign management, spanning strategy design, build, execution, and continuous optimisation based on performance insights.
  • Highly analytical, advanced critical thinking skills and commercially minded, with the ability to interpret large data sets, track performance metrics, and drive outcomes aligned to KPIs and operational goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities under pressure, and foster a resilient, high‑performance team culture.
