The Role
Reporting to our Head of Collection Services, you will lead the strategic growth initiatives within the Collection Services business, spanning the NCML, Legal Force, Collection House, and Baycorp brands across Australia. This pivotal role focuses on dynamic new business acquisition and strategic expansion within our existing client base. You will target high-value, high-profile organisations in the corporate and government sectors, including banking, insurance and finance, telecommunications, utilities, and all levels of government (federal, state, and local), to achieve ambitious sales targets and growth objectives.
As our Head of Growth, you will:
- Develop and execute dynamic sales plans through proactive business development activity, with a strong focus on new business acquisition.
- Build and strategically manage a robust business opportunity pipeline within relevant industry segments.
- Leverage your deep industry experience and insight to identify significant growth opportunities across new products and market segments.
- Lead the entire tender process, including the development of winning tender responses and proposal documents for high-value opportunities within the Australian market.
- Utilise comprehensive sales data and market intelligence to drive strategic decisions relating to future growth opportunities within the contingent business.
- Develop and deliver compelling, high-impact client presentations tailored to senior-level executives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine competitive and profitable pricing models.
- Provide regular, insightful sales reporting, including monthly & quarterly business development reports and strategic analyses to senior leadership.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all contacts, leads, and sales activities within our central CRM system.

- Deep and demonstrable collections industry experience, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, regulatory environments, and operational best practices.
- An extensive and active network of deep contacts and established relationships within the collections, debt recovery, or related financial services sectors, ready for immediate impact.
- Strong financial acumen, enabling you to analyse commercial models, assess client profitability, and clearly articulate the financial ROI of proposed solutions.
- Advanced business development expertise with a proven track record of securing significant new business and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and close complex deals with high-value clients.
- Proven ability to work effectively within complex organisations, across multiple segments and industries.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing individuals and groups of all sizes, from operational teams to executive boards.
- The ability to understand complex industry segments and translate this understanding into actionable initiatives that drive growth.
- A sound understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills.
- Experience in project management and change management methodologies, particularly in implementing new client solutions.
