About Us:
Baycorp NZ Legal Services is an in-house operation specialising in communicating with customers to assist the recovery process, by making personal contact and preparing and serving legal documents when necessary.
As a part of the Legal Services Administration team, you will be required to provide efficient and professional administrative support to the legal, collection agents and file review officers, as well as to our valued clients.
About Your New Role:
As a Legal Services Administrator it is vital that you support and assist our legal services clients in a professional manner whilst efficiently managing internal communication with departments to ensure end to end completion of all required administrative tasks. This role will involve drafting the legal documents and managing the process through signing and filing with the Ministry of Justice and ensure that the appropriate next steps are taken. You will manage actions filed with the courts and follow up until recovered.
You will work directly with Baycorp’s solicitor on record to ensure that all legal action taken is accurate, timely and delivered to a high standard.
Duties will be (but not limited to):
- Legal document drafting
- Document filing
- Preparing mail
- Replying to customers which could include negotiating payment of outstanding debt
- Liaising with our clients and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across our various business units

- Strong track record of adherence to compliance of policies & procedures
- Proven track record of success and commitment in your current position
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong administration and customer service experience
- To be self-motivated
- Have strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
- To demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude even in difficult situations
- To be able to organise their own workload by determining and assigning the priority to the appropriate tasks to achieve effective and efficient results
- To be able maintain adherence to a variety of timeframes
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate capabilities in:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
