We are looking for a savvy Quantitative Analyst to join our growing team of analytics experts. Quantitative Analyst will be responsible for delivering predictive modelling projects, assisting us in data migration to a new system, create sophisticated reporting, and build tracking tools to understand what is happening within our client portfolios. The ideal candidate is an experienced predictive modeller and data wrangler who enjoys model building, report creation and insights generation. If you have experience in delivering ML and AI models, it will be a strong advantage. You must be a self-starter and should be able to work independently. 

 

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be part of the Decision Science Team which works with various business units to discover and develop predictive models, reporting and analytical solutions that help us monitor our performance across a variety of client portfolios. 

You are expected to be highly analytical, resourceful, and thorough. Tertiary education in statistics, math or data science is essential. Critical thinking and problem solving are needed in order to prepare insights for our client presentations focusing on performance and data insights into customer profiles. You will also be required to communicate these insights and reports effectively to the stakeholders in both oral and written forms.

Qualifications for Quantitative Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/Physics, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Computer Science; graduate degree in Data Science or other equivalent fields is preferred
  • 5+ years of data analysis experience
  • Proficient in SAS (5+ years of coding experience) and R Studio (2+ years of experience)
  • Proven predictive modelling experience (preferred – 3+ models built) 
  • Desirable – experience in Report Builder, SQL Analysis Services
  • Desirable – Practical knowledge of machine learning and deep learning models
  • Experience in data mining and wrangling
  • Data storytelling skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience assembling large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
  • Able to perform data loading, cleansing, transformation, and analysis
  • Comfortable with working with large and varied amounts of data across different platforms and sources
  • Work with different units of Creditcorp and subsidiary companies to determine key areas that can be improved by data science
  • Able to communicate insights and findings to various stakeholders
  • Works with business leaders in the deployment of the models created (e.g. provide assistance and needed information)
