As the Senior Manager – Portfolio Insights within our Collection Services division, you will play a critical leadership role in identifying where the business should focus its efforts to maximise commercial and operational performance. Leading a team of analysts and reporting specialists, you will establish the single source of truth for portfolio performance, client reporting and strategic insights.
Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders, you will translate complex data into actionable recommendations, proactively identify portfolio risks and opportunities, and drive initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency and client outcomes. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence strategic decisions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead portfolio diagnostics and performance analysis across multiple client and portfolio segments
- Identify emerging risks, performance trends and commercial opportunities through advanced analytics
- Develop and maintain executive-level reporting, strategic reviews and client performance packs
- Own commercial pricing, underwriting models, tenders and RFP submissions
- Partner with operational leaders to design and implement performance improvement strategies
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of quantitative analysts and reporting specialists
- Establish robust benefit-tracking frameworks to measure initiative outcomes and support continuous improvement
- Ensure reporting governance, compliance, data quality and security standards are maintained at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience leading portfolio analytics, commercial analysis, strategic finance or underwriting functions
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases and influence strategic decisions
- Advanced analytical capability with experience using SQL, Power BI and large-scale data environments
- Solid experience translating complex analytics into clear commercial recommendations
- Exceptional stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience developing high-performing analytical teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative discipline (MBA highly regarded).
