The Role:

As the SQL Developer & Scheduler Platform Lead, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance, enhancement, and development of the Credit Corp Scheduler program, applying advanced SQL expertise to drive continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with business objectives across all business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical direction of the Scheduler platform — design, build, enhance, and maintain
  • Lead complex integrations between the Scheduler and other critical systems
  • Implement and maintain compliance rules and core business logic
  • Solve hard problems — troubleshooting complex issues, performing root‑cause analysis, and preventing recurrence
  • Drive architectural improvement, moving the platform toward a fully automated, user‑friendly future state
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan and deliver strategic projects and enhancements
  • Maintain a robust risk and issue register
  • Mentor and lead SQL Developers and technical team members

You will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience designing, building, and supporting large‑scale systems in a SQL Server environment
  • Deep expertise in SQL Server — advanced stored procedures, complex query optimisation, performance tuning, and database design
  • Proven experience leading end‑to‑end SDLC for a business‑critical platform
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, data modelling, and system integrations
  • Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in IT (or equivalent industry experience)
