Be responsible for managing a portfolio of disputes across Australia and New Zealand to work towards fair, practical and timely resolution of complaints made to external bodies, including the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and the Office of the Australian Information Commission (OAIC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage complaints from the very beginning and throughout investigation, evaluate documentation and determine the best course of action for the complainant and Credit Corp
- Ensure operational compliance by making sure processes and policies are followed at all times
- Be a key player in the ongoing improvement of policies and processes used by the team
- Maintain strong external and internal stakeholder relationships
What we’re looking for:
- Experience dealing within dispute resolution within Financial Services (ideally 3-5 years)
- Law degree or comparable qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of the Debt Collection Guidelines, National Credit Code, responsible lending obligations and the Privacy Act (desirable)
- An ability to critically assess complaints and make recommendations on systems or process improvement to prevent recurrence
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Available to work permanent full-time - Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
