The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving business growth and market presence through the development and execution of strategic sales plans across CarStart Finance, our core automotive lending brand in Australia.
You’ll work closely with finance brokers, automotive dealerships, and key introducers, supported by a collaborative, high‑performing internal team that values innovation, initiative, and results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed growth targets
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with finance brokers, auto dealerships, and key introducers
- Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of business opportunities
- Conduct market research to understand evolving client needs and inform future strategy
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deal flow and customer outcomes
- Deliver training, product updates, and sales support to our partners
- Represent the business with professionalism and confidence across industry events, meetings, and presentations
You will have:
- Proven B2B business development experience
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline
- Strong relationship-building skills with executives, business owners, and key stakeholders
- Previous experience in auto finance, asset lending, or finance broking (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and sales data to drive decision-making
