This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned collections leader to make an impact on the future of our Collection Services division. As Head of Collections Operations, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and optimising operational delivery across multiple collection sites to ensure revenue, client and compliance objectives are consistently achieved.

Through strategic direction, coaching, and leadership, you will build capability, enhance engagement and foster a high-performance culture. This will ensure our teams are engaged, motivated and supported to succeed, ultimately driving continuous improvement in efficiency, capability and results. In this senior-level role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to grow market share, enhance client relationships and drive long-term success.

You will be an influential leader who combines commercial acumen, operational excellence and a continuous improvement mindset. With expertise in pricing, large-scale project leadership, and building high-performing teams, you will embed best practices, accountability, and sustainable growth within the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Culture – Lead the development of high-performing teams, fostering an engaged culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Oversight – Shape and execute business and operational strategies aligned with long-term growth objectives.
  • Operational Excellence – Establish best-practice reporting frameworks to guide decision-making and ensure financial targets are met. Optimise resource allocation to maximise profitability.
  • Process improvement and Performance – Drive operational improvements and system transformations to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Client Relationship Management – Act as a key point of contact for major clients, ensuring outstanding partnership delivery and service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Significant experience in a senior role within collections, with a track record of driving business improvement and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, driving performance and fostering engagement.
  • A commitment to leadership, innovation, and driving change across teams and systems.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain impactful, long-term relationships.
  • Strong understanding of business operations combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • The ability to respectfully challenge the status quo and prioritise action on improvements.
  • Location – Brisbane location preferred but need to be willing to travel.
