Workflow Team Leader

The Role and the Team

The Workflow Management team is a core business function that is instrumental in looking at the institutional debt we purchase and manage large datasets. Reporting directly to the workflow manager, you will be managing a team of workflow coordinators, meeting stakeholder requirements and KPIs and driving improvements to key processes. In addition your day to day tasks and responsibilities will include but not limited to;


  • Managing a team of client services and operational support service providers
  • Developing, coordinating & implementing processes and procedures to achieve optimal team performance against KPIs
  • Being the customer experience for internal and external stakeholders by liaising and communicating proactively
  • Understanding customer expectations, coordinate the workflow activities to meet their needs
  • Develop measures and controls for Workflow activities
  • Create and develop performance reports
  • Prioritising and escalating requests that need special attention
  • Working with the other teams to drive outcomes
  • Assisting with the continual improvement of processes and procedures relating to your team
  • Reviewing team’s deliverables, where applicable, to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Helping provisioning staff prioritise their workloads
  • Leading change initiatives to develop streamlined, risk minimising, time savings processes
  • Being the constructive influencer by being organised, proactive and reliable when it comes to following up information from internal and external sources

Skills and key requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team of at least 5 staff
  • Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Sound understanding of ITSM model
  • High level of both verbal and written communication
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Fast learner, highly organised, reliable
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain a high workload
  • Ability to work and remain level-headed in a high paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and constructively with your larger team environment
  • Personal Integrity and strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Tertiary qualified in either management, finance, technology related disciplines preferable
  • SQL/SAS knowledge advantageous
